My name is Matilda Miranda, and I am an illustrator based in Atlanta, Georgia. I was born in Cochabamba, Bolivia, and came to the States when I was three years old. I enjoy creating illustrations around whimsical and nature themes. My influences revolve around the fantasy books and the places I have traveled. These books are the main inspiration for me to create quirky characters. My travel experience has inspired the landscapes and natural elements in my work. I mostly create my illustrations digitally, but I also use traditional media such as watercolor, colored pencils, and pastels.

I recently graduated with a BFA in illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design. And I am excited to make my full-time entrance to the Illustration industry, and passionate as ever to see my work in the hands of others.
